Great for my every day carry bag

I always carry a medium back pack when I leave the house (5.11 LVL18 model). This insert is in the back. Better to have it and not need it than the other way around. Panel is well made, covered in heavy duty Cordura. I got it in grey so no one even notices when I open my pack to pull something out.

I use this in my work package added protection while I walk to and from buildings within the city. It covers the entire insert in my pack, but can also just be placed in a pack without an insert.
